69th Annual West Tennessee Strawberry
Festival Checker Tournament
May 12th -
13th, 2006 (Friday & Saturday)
at Union Planters Bank 1200 Main St. Humboldt, TN at the "Regions Bank," downtown. Business meeting and Registration at 8:30AM on May 12th with play to begin at 9:00AM, continues Saturday, May 13 and play is expected to end around 2pm on Saturday. Frank and Mary Davis will be referee and score keeper. The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce and the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival will again sponsor this tournament. We will again have plenty of free food from the restaurants! You will not have to get out of the bank unless you want to. Playing area is excellent; upstairs (has elevator). We always have between two and three thousand dollars in cash prizes. Free door prizes. Drawing for tickets to fine restaurants. Please call early as possible for reservations. Tell them you are there for the checker tournament.
